PRE-ARRANGED FUNERAL PLANS Speak to us about your plans for your funeral, many people make plans for the funeral service they require whether due to serious illness or terminal illness it does actually bring a feeling of relief to many people and their family's we make and keep a record of all your funeral requirements and wishes such as type of service, music, transport, flowers, burial or cremation, the venue after the service. This is a totally free service with no obligations and would be used at a time of need.
We will store cremated remains until you feel you are ready to collect them or make arrangement for us to deliver them.

The price that we advertise is the price that you pay, our prices include all disbursements with no hidden fees. If you have lost a loved one and require a funeral director we advise you to compare prices and shop around asking questions to make quite a saving.
Our Pre - Paid Funeral Plans are administrated by Golden Leaves and also competitive priced.

Funeral services

We are proud to be part of the Fair Funeral Pledge as being part of the pledge we are to show our lowest prices including disbursements or third party costs. When asking for a quote make sure to ask if the price includes disbursements.

Disbursements or Third party costs are payments outside the funeral directors control such as cremation / burial fees, Doctors fees, Church fees, Clergy / Celebrant fees.

Direct Cremation or Unattended Service. No Fuss. As seen on the television advertisements - £1450.00 this price includes bringing the deceased into our care a good quality wood effect coffin, all fees including Doctors fees and cremation fees, no Family / Minister or service, no chapel of rest facilities, ashes will be available or scattered at the crematorium, with this service payment is required prior to the funeral taking place.

Our Simple Package £2600.00 Hearse only, crematorium or graveside service with Celebrant / Minister, chapel of rest facilities, quality wood effect coffin, doctors fees and all other fees are included.

A deposit of 50% is required.

Outstanding balance to be paid within 14 days.

Our Standard Package £3150.00 Hearse with one limousine,

Standard Veneer Coffin, Chapel of Rest Facilities, Doctors fees, Celebrant / Ministers fees, and all other fees included.

If additional limousines or other services are required these can be arranged during the funeral arrangements.

A deposit of 50% is required.

Outstanding balance to be paid within 14 days.

Our personalised Service. A funeral service that is tailored to the families or next of kin wishes. If possible we will arrange with all religions and believes again making the service a celebration of life, and a life well lived. We will provide a written quote and a breakdown of all costs involved, our pricing is as always transparent with no hidden fees, If you require a Church or place of worship service prior to the cremation or burial we will obtain a price at the time of the arrangement, as Church's and places of worship vary in price.

STANDARDISED PRICE LIST

All funeral directors are legally required to publish this price list for a standardised set of products and services.

This is to help you think through your options and make choices, and to let you compare prices between different funeral directors.

ATTENDED FUNERAL. funeral directors charges only. £1100.00

This is where family and friends have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person at the same time as they attend their burial or cremation.

Taking care of all necessary legal and administrative arrangements. This is part of the funeral directors charges.

Removal of the deceased within a 20 mile radius outside working hours and bringing into our care. £80.00

Removal of the deceased within a 20 mile radius during office hours. No charge.

Care of the deceased person in our premises until the day of the funeral. This is part of the funeral directors charges.

Provision of oak veneer or mahogany veneer coffin. £370.00

Provision of the chapel of rest for viewing of the deceased is during office hours only and by appointment. There is no additional charge. Part of funeral directors charges.

The date and time of the funeral service will be agreed between family / friends and the funeral director. Taking the deceased person to the agreed crematorium or cemetery, normally within 20 miles of our premises via the home or place of importance. £250.00

UNATTENDED FUNERAL. This is a funeral where family / friends choose to have a ceremony, event or service for the deceased person but do not attend the burial or cremation.

Burial. Funeral directors charges only. £600.00

Cremation. funeral Directors charges plus the cremation fees, including doctors fees. £1450.00

FEES YOU MUST PAY. For an attended and unattended burial funeral in the local area burial fee (interment fee). £1074.00

For a new grave you would also have to purchase a plot. for an existing grave with a memorial in place, you may need to pay a removal / replacement fee, also cemetery or local authority fees.

For an attended cremation funeral fee. At the local crematorium. (ashes scattered). £1017.00

In England, Wales and Northern Ireland two doctors are needed to sign the medical certificates for cremation. £164.00

Please discuss any specific religious, belief based and or cultural requirements that you have with the funeral director.

ADDITIONAL FUNERAL DIRECTOR PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

We are able to supply a range of optional and additional products and services, or to arrange for your benefit for a third party to supply them. Examples include.

Additional milage. £4.50 per mile

Additional transfers of the deceased. eg home, church, over night. £60.00

Collection and delivery of ashes. No Charge

Embalming. £80.00

Funeral officiant, celebrant, minister of religion. £200 - £225

Services supplied outside normal office hours. price on request.

We can provide a written quote for any additional products / services you require, giving you the option of making other arrangements.
